The Content Marketing Manager for the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) is a skilled and flexible generalist who will identify, write and edit a large volume of content, and oversee the production of print, digital, and video projects all within a fast-paced, deadline-driven atmosphere.
The position requires excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, and the ability to interface comfortably with faculty and department chairs, alumni, students, colleagues and staff. The successful candidate will have deep project management experience (digital and traditional), and good knowledge of best practice as it relates to content marketing/strategy.
This position will work closely with the director of communications to develop a content strategy and calendar that furthers the College’s Academic Strategic Plan and complements the central marketing team’s efforts and strategic goals. Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are required as this position will sometimes act as a designate of the director when the latter is occupied or away from the office.
