The Corporate Marketing Department is seeking 3-5 dynamic and talented Marketing Interns to join our 2019 Summer Internship program!
Our Marketing Interns will work on real-time and meaningful projects; develop creative and technical skills; collaborate and network with various teams; and receive mentorship.Â
Available Internships: Â
Contributes to content strategy including planning calendar, drafting social media posts, measuring social engagement and reporting on social metrics.Â
Works closely with the social media team who partner with UHS hospitals to deliver relevant, timely content that is engaging to our social audience.
Adheres to and advocates for UHS social media best practices.Â
As a team member, demonstrates professionalism and treats everyone as a guest to support the UHS focus on service excellence.Â Â
Partners with facilities to strategically engage and grow their audiences, while also being responsive to ad hoc requests and agile in meeting tight timelines.Â
Working closely with Internal Communications Program Manager, develops Intranet sites for hospitals and healthcare facilities, based on Microsoft SharePoint platform.Â
Develops web assets including: building new sites; loading approved content/images; and updating layouts and content of existing sites.Â
Supports Internal Communications efforts through assisting with drafting and editing internal news articles and announcements.
Participates with Senior Designers in print production, resizes and reprints, which includes a high volume of mounting, laminating and trimming posters.Â
Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while keeping extreme attention to detail.Â
Exercises Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Supports the development of compelling copy.Â
Utilizing diverse media, develops ad campaigns and concepts for interactive/web, print, broadcast, direct mail, out-of-home and other forms of publications for the companyâ€™s Acute Care and Behavioral Health divisions.Â
Researches hospitals and services to ensure ability to write accurate, on-target copy/concepts for assigned projects.Â
Works with the director to develop and maintain text style templates for the agency and all clients, to assure consistent brand identity across all media.
Digital UX Analytics/Digital UX Design:
Tags key website elements and usage reporting of UHSâ€™ web properties.
Performs SEO analysis and reporting; participates in digital analytics services provided by the Advertising Department for Corporate, Acute Care and Behavioral Health.
Works under guidance of Director and Sr. Data Analyst to collate and distribute monthly dashboards.
