Arts & Venues Denver is currently seeking to fill the role of Marketing/Ticket Operations Specialist to join our growing and dynamic organization. In this role you will manage all aspects of ticketing for Arts & Venues Denver properties including The Denver Performing Arts Complex, The Colorado Convention Center, The Bellco Theatre, Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, The Denver Coliseum, and McNichols Civic Center Building.
The Marketing/Ticketing Operations Specialist serves as the liaison between The City and County of Denver’s internal employees, the City’s Ticket contractor (AXS Digital) and City clients across the Agency’s portfolio of venues. Specific responsibilities include the following:
Develops, implements and manages City of Denver ticketing policies and processes including client communication, ticket builds and onsales.
Acts as a brand steward, quickly gaining a working understanding of the Arts and Venues and City of Denver brands to provide professional and courteous guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
Establishes performance metrics for ticketing and marketing programs and optimizes tactics to meet performance goals.
Coordinates ticket stock design, production coordination and onsite inventory management.
Implements major marketing and promotional programs/campaigns/events including advertising strategies, media plans, timelines, collaboration with business/community partners.
Performs financial reviews and approvals of ticketing audits and post show settlements.
Assisting with the creation and execution of digital marketing efforts including email marketing campaigns, sponsorship asset activation as well as patron analytics.
We are looking for a strategic marketing professional with a client services background focused in a professional ticketing and marketing environment. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding and demonstrated professional experience with the following:
1 year experience with promoter relations in hospitality, sports, or entertainment environment.
Experience with the creation and implementation of revenue generation and promotional campaigns
Familiarity with commercial email automation platforms.
Exposure and knowledge of patron data analytics in a CRM environment.
Professional level experience working within a municipal, state or federal government environment.
Ticketing industry knowledge including new and emerging patron and ticketing technologies.
Experience leading/managing a marketing project or initiative.

Three (3) years of full performance, professional level experience performing marketing and/or public relations functions including research and analysis, developing public announcements and publications, and developing marketing and/or public relations strategies.
Colorado Class “R” Driver’s License by the completion of probation.
One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post high school education.
A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements.
Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
