Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) As a member of the Marketing Strategy Team, within the UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement (M&R) Insurance Solutions (IS) team, the Strategy Marketing Manager is responsible for formulating data-driven marketing strategies that are personalized to the audience and deliver a seamless end-to-end consumer journey for prospects and members. The Strategy Marketing Manager leads or significantly contributes to the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) marketing strategy in one or more of the following areas: Customer Journey, Competitive and Market Intelligence, Content and Messaging, Business Reporting, and Creative Governance. Primary Responsibilities: Collaborates across functional groups, leveraging internal and external business partners and engaging the client to achieve business goalsAggregates market and competitive intelligence, conducts consumer research, reviews Voice of the Customer feedback, and translates the information into actionable insightsCompletes regular and ad-hoc reporting for business stakeholders Develops and maintains a comprehensive consumer experience journey map by collaborating with other internal and external business partnersTranslates target member segments and the desired consumer experience journey into marketing objectivesDevelops content strategies that align with the overall marketing objectivesEstablishes overall marketing channel strategy and continually refines it as new capabilities and data sources determine the most effective channelsIdentifies and explores alternative distribution channels Evolves and maintains the brand messaging and communications architectureGoverns the creative development process to maintain consistency and alignmentPartners across the Marketing team to define and map a holistic consumer experience across all online and offline channelsSets business performance metrics and targetsEstablishes the learning agenda for MarketingSets the overall agency strategy and manages relationships with key agency partnersParticipates on enterprise project teamsSuccess Factors:Strong technical skillset to identify, define, and analyze various data sets to draw conclusions and take necessary actionsStrong understanding of consumer needs across the end-to-end consumer lifecycleStrong understanding of Omni channel marketing with a focus on developing a robust consumer digital experienceWillingness and capability to share responsibilities in a team environment so that the team collectively achieves its strategic business objectivesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present relevant information to various audiences and stakeholdersSolid understanding of professional project management practices and capability to work with project managers to coordinate and execute multiple, simultaneous projects Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field 5+ years performing marketing work with demonstrated results developing and implementing direct to consumer (DTC) and/or brand marketing assets, campaigns and product marketing strategies5+ years collaborating in a cross-functional and matrixed environment influencing others and gaining alignment on common goals 5+ years working in a deadline driven environment, managing and prioritizing multiple deliverables\5+ years demonstrated organizational skills3+ years meeting or exceeding sales promotion/marketing targetsProficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Live within a commutable distance to Horsham, PA Preferred Qualifications:Master's degreeCareers at UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement.
