The Chesapeake Bay Trust, a non-profit environmental grant-making organization, seeks its first ever Marketing Officer to lead the Trust’s efforts to market several key sources of revenue used to support grants. The Marketing Officer will focus on the Treasure the Chesapeake vehicle license plate (the “Bay plate”), the Chesapeake and Endangered Species Fund tax donation “checkoff” line on the Maryland state income tax form, and one or two new unrestricted revenue streams under development. This person will be a key member of a high-energy, seventeen-person staff. As the first person in this role, the individual has the opportunity to significantly shape the Trust’s marketing work and solidify the sustainability of the organization. This is a full-time salary position (40 hours per week) that requires periodic evening and weekend work, a valid driver’s license and own transportation for significant travel throughout the State of Maryland. The Officer will report directly to Director of Development and Marketing and be part of the three-person Development, Marketing, and Communications team. Primary Responsibilities:
